Juvenile & Family Law Attorney
Mark grew up in a small town in North Georgia resting at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. His mother worked as an OBGYN nurse and his father worked as a carpenter and contractor. His grandparents are well known in their church and the community at large for always lending a helping hand to those in need. As a child, Mark learned from their empathy and their willingness to help those who are going through difficult times. In early high school Mark lost his mother to cancer. Because of that loss, Mark feels a special sense of empathy for children of divorce and he strives to be an advocate for all children.
Mark graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Georgia College & State University (now the University of North Georgia), receiving his undergraduate degree in Political Science. Mark later attended Mercer University School of Law and graduated Cum Laude. During his time at Mercer, Mark obtained practice-ready instruction in trial strategy, real estate law, and bankruptcy law. Mark also served the community as a member of the Mercer Legal Aid Volunteer Association and the Mercer Criminal Defense Society. Mark has worked with the Brodie Law Group since law school, having spent countless hours in courtrooms across Middle Georgia since that time.
Mark is a member of Operation BBQ Relief, an organization that serves food to victims of natural disasters in America. Mark and his wife have two rescue dogs, one adopted from All About Animals Rescue in Macon. In his spare time, Mark enjoys boating on Lake Sinclair, traveling to the mountains, and BBQing.
