Baldwin County Superior Court
Baldwin County is part of the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit – an eight county judicial circuit. There are five Superior Court judges who hear cases in the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. Those five judges rotate throughout the eight counties.
Civil and criminal motion days are held every Friday in Baldwin County. Civil cases are heard by two Superior Court judges at the Baldwin County Courthouse located in downtown Milledgeville at 121 N. Wilkinson Street. The courtrooms are located on the 4th floor of the Baldwin County courthouse. Criminal cases are heard in the courtroom at the Baldwin County Law Enforcement Center (Baldwin County Jail) which is located at 119 Old Monticello Road NW. The courtroom at the jail is very small and seating is limited; however, the jail staff does its best to accommodate visitors and family members.
